Ok, I just got back from vacation (in Lost Wages), and while wading thru the backlog, there has been references to a Patch to Lattice 4.0. I didn't see any info as to how to get this patch. Anyone care to send it to me...... pleeeeeeeze :-) -- Tony -- **************** Insert 'Standard' Disclaimer here: OOP ACK! ***************** * Tony Parkhurst --> hp-sdd!artecon!adp (or) hp-sdd!artecon!adp@nosc.ARPA * * "One lawyer can steal more than a hundred men with guns." -- The Godfather * *******************************************************************************

Lattice keeps a tight watch to be sure only registered owners get the patch. ----> Please pass this message on to all other systems! <---- . ATTENTION LATTICE AmigaDos V4.0 OWNERS!!!! ########################################## . There is now a patch available for Version 4.0 of the Lattice AmigaDos 'C' Compiler. The patch is available for downloading on the Lattice Bulletin Board Service through the filename "AMFIX400.ARC". This patch is only applicable to current V4.0 Compiler owners. The "AMFIX400.ARC" patch will update the Compiler to a 4.01 Version. After applying the fix, you will have an updated READ.ME file with appended information detailing Version 4.01. Please review the READ.ME file carefully as it contains very useful information. The 4.01 Patch is also available through the mail to REGISTERED 4.0 customers by calling Lattice Update Services at (312) 916-1600 9am - 5pm C.S.T. . The Lattice BBS is at (312) 916-1200 *9600/2400/1200/300/8/N/1 AMFIX400.ARC = 97,575 bytes, takes approx 8 minutes to dl at 2400 bps . To apply the 4.01 patch, click on LC_PATCHES for information or type "execute LC_PATCHES:loadfix" from the AmigaDos prompt. . >>>>DON'T RUN THE PATCH ON YOUR MASTERS! MAKE A COPY FIRST!<<<< . Once on the Lattice BBS, you need to type "j amiga" then "f" (for files) then "d" (for download). The filename is "amfix400.arc".

Many (many!) systems use a dot (.) alone on a line to indicate the end of a mail message. Call it brain-damaged, but there it is. If you get the file in one piece & want to upload it someplace, please change the lone dots to something else. I assume you mean Lattice Amiga C v4.0 owners... ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@swan.ulowell.edu ulowell!page
