AmigaMail(tm) is the Commodore-Amiga Developer's Newsletter (published bi-monthly now, I believe). You can subscribe to it for about $20 (see Carolyn's recent message in comp.sys.amiga on developer support materials). >(2) Do you *have* to have access to BIX in order to be in the Working Groups? No, you do not and I don't believe this is implied in the document. I would recommend it though, as much activity related to working groups will likely occur there. >(3) How do you get on Commodore's "developer list"? I got the 1.2 developer's >update - is that enough? Do I have to explicitly ask to be on the list? To become a "Certified Developer" costs $50 a year, and includes a subscription to AmigaMail. AmigaMail is our bimonthly Amiga developer newsletter. It is mailed to all registered developers. >(2) Do you *have* to have access to BIX in order to be in the Working Groups? Day-to-day discussions and plans will probably take place where the major players in the group have accounts. I would imagine if a particular group all had uucp access, then uucp could be used. >(3) How do you get on Commodore's "developer list"? I got the 1.2 developer's >update - is that enough? Do I have to explicitly ask to be on the list? All CATS support materials (except for Gamma materials) may be purchased by anyone. To become a registered developer, you must be developing a salable product for the Amiga, or be the head of a user Group, head of a university department, or an industry vip. You must fill out a developer application and apply for admittance to either the Certified program or the Commercial program. There are yearly fees for each program. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CATS >>Commodore Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,ihnp4,rutgers}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
