I have tried to do a colour selector using RGB sliders. What I haven't been able to figure out is how to get movement messages (not button clicks) so I can change the colour as the knob is slid around. I have set REPORTMOUSE in the Flags field of the window, FOLLOWMOUSE set in the gadget structure's Flags field, then I wait for MOUSEMOVE events. None come in. Did I leave something out? Will the HorizPot field be updated for me when and if I do get a MOUSEMOVE? Burning questions, indeed. The `PopColours' program (source and docs) can be found on Fish Disk #43. It uses sliders, etc. to alter screen colors in real time and appears to be exactly what you are seeking. Source + docs = 21K, so is a bit much to post here. If you cannot find Fish #43, lemme know and I'll email you a shar of PopColours. There are two Palette.c's on the Fish Disks - Charlie Heath's and mine. Mine may also be in comp.sources.amiga. These will give you some additional implementations to examine. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CATS >>Commodore Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,ihnp4,rutgers}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
