Hi, Would anyone happen to have a printer driver for a NEC P5XL? Before I try to botch it up myself, I figured that I would try to save some time ( and aggravation ) by asking. If a driver specifically for the P5XL is unavailable, should I try to derive one from the EpsonQ driver ( the P5 has Epson LQ emulation )? I would like to eventually use a P5 specific driver, because the NEC printer has some extended capabilities over the Epson, including color and a higher resolution, among others. In any case, any suggestions, directions, etc. would be much appreciated. It is identical to the EpsonQ driver with the exception of also supporting the 360x360 dpi graphics mode of the Pinwriter series printers. It should work like a charm on your P5XL. Regards, David Berezowski PS. Although V1.3 Workbench/Extras is not out yet, the drivers are available on some application packages. Those that I'm aware of are ProWrite 2.0, Professional Page 1.1, Shakespeare, and Excellence! Please note that these packages are shipping with pre-release versions of the device/drivers.
