I am wondering how transparent the Amiga parallel port is to the Amiga when running LPT1 and how fully it implements the IBM PC/XT parallel port LPT1. Does it allow input/output? How about all of the handshaking and are they in the proper direction? I require this info since I will be developing some software for the PC on the BridgeCard that requires total control of the Parallel port and the control lines. I have been using LPT1 on the Bridgecard with a variety of PC programs with absolutely no glitch. Considering that the BridgeCard uses the Phoenix BIOS emulator, I would assume no incompatibility. -- Marco Papa 'Doc' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
