[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Learning to program the serial port

egranthm@jackson.uucp (Ewan Grantham) (07/19/88)

Was wondering what books people might recommend for learning to program
the Amiga's serial port in C?

I can find all the info I'd EVER want to know about how to program screens
and graphics, but barely a word about the serial port.

Thanks for the help,
Ewan Grantham

My e-mail message got rejected so I'm posting here. Pick the RKM manual
from Addison-Wesley that covers the serial port and the sources for VT100.
If you are adventurous, also pick up the autodocs disk from CATS that
includes info on the latest additions (mark and space parity, etc..).

That will get you started.
