I forgot, even with that library i had to hack perl for one thing. Seems you can't do the status call on a file handle, only a file name (I forget the DOS name now ... whatever lattice dfind calls) which was a problem as perl in one place calls fstat. Fix was to find the name of the file (perl had it scarfed away) and use that instead. Anybody ever figure out how to get info from just a file handle, not a file name? ron P.S. sorry about the vagueness. I just remembered that this was over 8 months ago, not six. Perl2 will NOT go via comp.sources.amiga. Those poor guys are definitely overloaded. Eight months ???!!!???
