The AmigaDos technical manual says that there are two forms of libraries, resident and scanned, the format and use of the former is fully described but very little is said about the latter. There is a mention of an `archive format' and the manual says that `object files may be concatenated' will this do? The reason for asking is that I have a copy of PDC (from Fish 110) and find that I need a substitute for amiga.lib, I guess that this must be a scanned library otherwise binaries using it would not run on other systems. Does anybody have a PD version of amiga.lib compatible with PDC ?
