I have a question about Resident structures. In the Flags field you
can set a flag RTF_COLDSTART (if memory serves me well). You would
suppose that such a Resident structure is initialized (via AUTOINIT
or just a direct call to the Init routine) at boot time.
I have tried this, but it does not seem to work the way I
expected it to work. I made a small test program that would just
call DisplayAlert if Intuition can be opened, and just Alert
otherwise. Nothing complicated, but nothing seems to happen.
Can someone enlighten me? It would not hurt if the entire bootstrap
procedures are documented a lot better that on the ReadMe disks.
Those docs are a bit too short for me...
