[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Manx fexecv

collins@pnet02.cts.com (Steven Collins) (11/17/88)

I am trying to do some AmigaDos stuff from within a C program
eg. COPY, DIR, DELETE, that sort of stuff... The code I have now,
creates a file in RAM: and then EXECUTE's it. When I'm done, I would
like to DELETE this file. For some reason, I get an 'object in use'
error when I try to do this. It seems like Dos stuff doesn't really
get done until my C program exits. Any information on fexecv would
be of help.

ps, there is a MANX 'amiga' function ( I think it is just a stub...)
called Execute. Is this an amiga os routine and if so, where is it
documented? ...oops, I found it in .... RKM.....
