ErikG@cup.portal.com (Erik Alexander Gavriluk) (12/05/88)
Am I the only one who thinks that there is way too much cross-posting going on between comp.sys.amiga and comp.sys.amiga.tech? (says Erik in a cross-posted message...) It's become a bit of a joke for me. I'll be reading sys.amiga, and, if someone has a question that I can answer, I'll ignore him. Then I read sys.amiga.tech. If I see the question again, I ignore him a second time (unless, in my humble opinion, the question deserves to be cross-posted.) If the article does not show up in duplicate, I dig back through the old articles and help the guy out. I always thought "tech" would be for hardware problems, programming questions, etc. Plain old "Amiga" would be for selling stuff, talking about new software, etc. Perhaps someone else can furnish some more explicit guidelines.
