I've got a C library that does this kind of thing. For those familiar
with it, it's a rewrite of the menustack code in mg. It's also
includes a couple of externals allowing global tweaking of intuitext
for the menus, and using your own error-handling routines.

Finally, there's a second library of similar nature for dealing with
requesters, including (of course) my own file requester that fits into
the mess.

I was planning on finishing my latest project, then going over these
things one more time (both were written for the project), then
releasing them. If you'd like to play with either one, drop me a line.
