Does anyone know the true pronounciation of the word 'spurious'? I have always said it [spyoori@s], where @ is a schwa ( like the u in run ), and every dictionary I've seen backs me up. Many people say it [sp@ri@s]. What's the deal? David Elliott unc!dce
