I'm working on a 3D fractal algorithm to do pictures similar to those
on the front of "The Beauty of Fractals". I calculate the pictures
into a 24 bit RGB (well really 12 bits are used) buffer. I then want to
map this 12 bit RGB into HAM. Anyone have any good algorithms for picking
the best 16 colors for my color palette?
