I have a program which updates the mouse pointer approx once per minute. I need to know a clean way of doing this. Currently I see 2 ways: GetPrefs(), set mouse pointer, SetPrefs() or, just slam the thing into the InuitionBase structure. Unfortunately, The header file for IntuitionBase says to not change anything dealing with preferences. So that leaves just GetPefs()... Now, this is not so bad, except that I don't need all of the other stuff to happen (like RethinkDisplay()?). I just need the mouse pointer to change on a global scale. How does the Pointer Animator work? I think the 1.3 ClockPtr uses the single window stuff and works on the workbench window only. Any ideas? People from C=? An recommended, portable methods of doing this? thanks brian moffet -- Brian Moffet {uunet, decvax!microsoft, ucscc}!sco!brianm -or- ...sco!alar!brian "I was everything you wanted me to be.
