I wish to open a window in such a way that it nicely fills the physical display (for example, on a plain jane WB I would like the window to come up as 640 x 200). The problem I have is due to the (unsupported, but might pleasant to have) program VSCREEN. I can look in gfxbase to extract screen size info (will this reflect the effect of any morerows like changes?) but if vscreen is running I find the virtual screen size, whereas I want the physical size. More examples... Suppose I have vscreen running with dimensions 1024 x 400 on a non interlace display, and morerows is not active. I want to be able to determine that I should open the window with dimensions 640 x 200. If morerows were active, say increasing the width to 655, then I would want to determine that I should open the window with dimensions 655 x 200. Any suggestions?
