Excuse me if I seem a bit spacey, I just got through a 3 day weekend Blake-a-thon and my eyes are fried. (48 hours of straight Blakes Seven Videos!) I prefer the stack approach for windows being opened and closed. If a window is opened in a program, When I am done with it the previous window which was being used should be made active. This way I know what's happening. I asked this question a while ago, but I went to Florida on a honeymoon and didn't see an answer 2.5 weeks later. Is there a method to change the global mouse pointer? I want to change the mouse pointer on a global scale about once per minute. Gte/SetPreferences doesn't seem like the best method as it does all sorts of other things as well. Also, I was having a problem with sending signals inside a input handler. I would Signal my sleeping other half when I saw an input event (600 ticks of the clock on the input stream) and it would cause a rather strange redirection of the input event. I would start getting key strokes on a non-active screen. Anyone else seen anything like this? thanks much. brian moffet -- Brian Moffet {uunet, decvax!microsoft, ucscc}!sco!brianm -or- ...sco!alar!brian "I was everything you wanted me to be.
