I'm trying to install Ispell on my A2500's hardisk. My problem is that the file Ispell.hash (~500Kb) should be put in the sys:s directory but my workbench partition absolutely positively full. Is there any symple way of making Ispell look for it somewhere else. I have plenty of room in my work partition. Thanks, Hector aguada@athena.mit.edu

I have plenty of room You could try to NewZap it. Probably search for the string 'sys' and maybe change it to 'wrk', or somethimg. I don't have Ispell, so I'm not sure if this will work. Some people just don't like their data being changed on them. ;-) Sean

Try this: Name the diskette that contains the ISPELL package "dict:" (without the quotes, and assigning dict: to the appropriate hd subdirectory or partition should work just as well). Add dict: to your path. Invoke with "ISPELL filename" Rick Plavnicky {...}!sun!cup.portal.com!plav
