I have been trying to get a simple device driver working.
I have the new Includes & Autodocs RKM and the old 1.1 RKMs
I tried typing in the device example in appendix K of the old RKM's.
It crashed when I did an OpenDevice("mydev.device".....)
I went through the ramdev.device and updated the code to the old example
where there were differences.
It does not crash anymore, but OpenDevice returns -1
Since I don't have a handy terminal to attach to my serial port,
I put the blink-power-led in the InitRoutine: as the first thing to do.
The Open device call makes it access the disk (df0:DEVS I assume)
I am sure mydev.device is in DEVS:
The filename matches the name MYDEVNAME
It never gets that far as blinking.
Any of you device gurus have some suggestions?
What exactly does the InitRoutine have to do?
