Hi, I have a couple of machines that I would like to latch together via
Matt Dillon's DNet. I want to make my own NULL modem cable (direct serial
link). What pins do I connect? Last year I directly hooked up a couple
of machines to dog fight with JET. It went something like this

5_____________________4
7_____________________7
I can't remember too well what the pins are, but I think this is the setup
I had. If this is correct, is it all I need to have DNet work properly?
If not, what is the proper pin connection which I will need? I know I can
just buy the cable but I'd sooner make my own because (1) I can make it as
long as I want (2) IT IS CHEAPER!!
Also, if anyone can offer any help with regards to problems they have
discovered with DNet and, of course, ways around these problems, I would
greatly appreciate it.
You could send me email and if I get lots of useful info I can summarize
