Hello. I am about to assemble a Lucas board for my A1000. I will be making the "keep the 68000" modification to it, and I will terminate the bus (on my WEDGE). I would appreciate any and all pointers from those of you who have built Lucas boards, either on the net, or as e-mail. I would also appreciate any and all news of the thirty-two bit memory daughterboard Brad is making - how long before it is ready, etc, as I'd like to add one to my system (with, say, 2Mb of thirty-two bit ram on it). With any luck I'll be assembling/installing it this weekend. I am planning to try three oscillators - 12Mhz, 16Mhz, and 20Mhz, and I'll lay in a good stock of LS, ALS, etc. 74xx parts for swapping. I hope to run at 20Mhz. In order to justify the cross-post to .tech, and because I deem it to be of general interest, I am including the results of some benchmarks I ran on a 20Mhz Lucas, a 14.32Mhz A2620, and my A1000.
