If someone would post a moderately-sized Smalltalk "program" (possibly dealing with an artificially simple problem and defining the actions of some objects using English only), people interested in the language would get a better feel for it. If object-oriented programming is similar in concept to structured programming, an observation made several times, then good examples are essential. Alternately, a reference to a widely-available source of such code would be most welcome. The August 81 BYTE Smalltalk issue contains some collections of code, but it would be instructional to see a good 4-5 page example along with a narrative description. Please post examples to the net. You can send references to me and I'll summarize. peter rowley, u. toronto uucp: ..decvax!utzoo!utcsrgv!peterr ARPANet: ucbvax!decvax!utzoo!utcsrgv!peterr@Berkeley
