[comp.sys.amiga.tech] 2090A harddrive won't boot- need hddisk.device

Hello again, everyone. It's me, the guy with semi-working A2500
with 1.2 kickstart installed (I have to wait a month or so for the
repairman to order it):

The Scenario: With everyone's advice, I've been trying to make my
2090a controller work with 1.2 kickstart. I've removed the two
autoboot eproms (hi and lo) from the 2090A, and then tried to mount
it, with no success. Turns out I need hddisk.device. Unfortuneately,
I don't have that, so I can't mount the hard drive! Various people
have told me to look on Workbench 1.3:devs. I did, and it's not on
there. The only disk that came with the controller is the
a2000HD/A2500 REINSTALL disk, and hddisk.device isn't on there either
(I suppose because it's probably also on the autoboot eproms, which
I can't plug in if I want the controller to work with 1.2 kickstart.)

Could someone from Commodore give me hddisk.device? Perhaps email it
to me? Please help me out... I'm dying here. Developing commmercial
games on a 2meg vd0: doesn't sound too bad in theory, but when you
get fatal gurus that kill off vd0:, well, it's real hard, believe me.
I neeeeeed the hard drive. It's addictive, like beer, like nicotine,
like cocaine, like pencil lead, etc.
