My 2000 refused to boot up . The symtotms are: 1) The power light comes on along with 'turbo' fan when the power switch is turned on. 2) NO clicking from my empty floppy drive 3) Dark screen on my monitor 4) None of the diagnotics colors show up So far, i've investigated: a) The monitor cable is correctly connected and is good. b) The Sony monitor is still responding to brightness and other controls c) The connectors for printer, modem, keyboard and mouse have been pulled out with no effect on the bootup behavior. d) The Micron 2 Meg memory card has also been pulled , with no effect. Aside from this, the 2000 is a factory rev 4.3 model. e) After reconnecting the keyboard, pressing C-A-A(as in normal warm reboots) donot cause any blinking of the power light. However the CAPS light on the keyboard do flash ONCE about 1 sec afther this or when the power is turned on. Any suggestions about which part is blown ? Magic medicine before i put my machine into the hospital. The dealer charged $50 just to look at the machine. Thanks in advance
