Just for fun I have decided I would like to try to bring up the Sozobon-C compiler on my A500. The interesting part of this exercise is I don't have a C compiler on the Amiga. Thus, I plan to bootstrap the system by compiling the compiler on my DECstation at work, have the compiler compile itself, run it through the A68k assembler and then link it using BLink on the Amiga. I realize that I can get a binary zc. Part of the fun is the bootstrapping process. My problem is this: the compiler does not come with any libraries. Obviously, C is nothing without libraries. Thus, to test the results, I would like to write some simple programs using the standard Amiga libraries and include files. These are not included with the standard software provided with my machine and a local dealer claims they are not available as stand-alone entities. Evidently, this is because libraries and include files are included with all commerical compilers. Is there a way I can get these include files and libraries directly from Commodore without paying for a compiler?
