I am the proud owner of a brand new Amiga 2000. However, I am having
one problem that I hope someone can help me with. The keyboard on
this beastie usually locks up on me when I first start it up. The
problem is much worse when it is cold, however it can happen anytime
it is turned on. Also, when it is going to exhibit this problem, the
screen almost without fail starts out green when power is first
applied instead of the usual gray. Sometimes, this green screen is as
far as it gets before the whole machine locks up!
I have taken it back to my dealer once so far and he supposedly fixed
it (without replacing anything), but when I got it home, it had
unfixed itself. I would like to get this problem ironed out quickly
(who wouldn't?) so before I take it back to the dealer I was hoping to
get some insight from someone who has worked on these machines before,
especially someone who has had the same or a similar problem. Any
information at all would be most appreciated.
