Much thanks to everybody who suggested that I increase the stack size for codeprobe and especially to Henrik Clausen for getting his answer in within 12 hours of my post. It worked as advertized. I should point out though that I did not have to increase the stack size by a large amount. I found that 8000 was all i needed for this program. Since my program uses very little stack by itself most of that can be atributed to codeprobe. Now why isn't this in the manual or more importantly why doesn't the startup-sequence on the Lattice distribtution disk increase the stack size?
