Heard a roomer yesterday that I'll pass on... Apple is now stopping production of Apple II's and switching to Apple II-E's (The compatible LSI version with only a few chips). However they were amazed to find that they sold more Apple II's in its last month of production than ever before -- more than 50,000. Apple II-E and Lisa announcement are supposedly "a week away", tho that's not really news. John Gilmore, speaking for myself
