Well here it is again, for those who must have them! THE PIN CONNECTIONS Along time ago in the lost reaches of the human mind an idea was born! This idea grew and grew until one day it exploded in reality - "Why not hook a Commodore monitor up to an Atari ST!" Well so the story goes on and on and on and...... For those of you who do not fell like getting ripped off buying an Atari monitor for their ST or have an Atari monitor and would like to hook it up to their Amiga, here are the pin connections! These are based on a cable make by Practial Soultions. Atari pins Amiga Pins Function ---------- ---------- -------- 6 1 RGB - Green 7 4 RGB - Red 9 2 Horz. Sync 10 5 RGB - Blue 12 6 Vert. Sync 13 3 Ground 1 External audio out Well that is that, I have tried these connections and they work like a charm. If you do have a ST you should consider getting a Commodore monitor (no "my comp. is better than yours" intended, just the truth) because unlike the Atari monitor it will support both Analog and Digital RGB, and Composite video inputs making it useful for more things(plus it costs less).
