I have a wierd virus on my 2000. It will do something to different
parts of my boot disk and my hard drive. I am booting with df0:
then assign everything to dh0: Sometimes my device drivers quit.
They are there but the system wont recognize them. Sometimes
different commands in my c directory quit working. Today my
mountlist was changed and prefs cant be found. Also 4 different
coppies of my boot disk has a read/write error, yesterday they
didn't. I have run all virus checkers on the system and tyey find
nothing! My two other hard drives dh2: and dh3: dont seem to be
infected just the st506 and df0: HELLLLLLLLP!!!

You might be the victim of the new Xeno Virus. It adds 1024 bytes to files
in some of your directories. You might compare the file sizes on a clean
copy of your boot disk with the files on an infected one.
I heard that the next virus X will handle this one.
