/* eat this! */ Does anyone know the status of the NET: file system? (I believe it was being worked on by the software distillery) Is it finished? If so, how can I get it? On what I consider to be the same topic, is anyone aware of ANY option for a real Amiga network (no PEE CEEs or Suns required as fileservers)? The only one I am aware of is CMI's appletalk board, for which software won't be available for at least a month. Is C-A going to have software for Amiga servers under the ethernet card it bought? Any other networking hardware/software? I am interested only in things which will be purchasable in 1989. Vaporware and product previews need not apply. -- A lack of prior planning on the part of any programmer always constitutes an emergency. Digital Teddy Bear dlarson@blake.acs.washington.edu

If so, >how can I get it? > It's available on BIX and PLINK, probably lots of other places by now. I have submitted it to comp.binaries.amiga, but got no response at all either time, not even an acknowledgement. I have to assume my messages are not getting through. I am planning on cleaning up the source and making it available in the next week or two. Please, don't request that I mail it, our mail is fairly unreliable and I don't want to flood the system with too much mail - it is quite large. If the moderators of comp.binaries and comp.sys.amiga would contact me, odds would improve of it getting out here since I could snarf the return path the mail message took. --Doug
