I've just got Doug's NET: handler up and running with the most
recent version of my parallel port network driver (Beta now).
It is extremely stable. Hopefully we'll be able to post binaries
rsn now for the parallel port.
It's kind of fun watching my A500 boot up like a standalone sun
'off the net' and come up with exactly the same enviroment as my
A1000, including access to all the A1000's devices/partitions.
Cable will be:
pass pins 2-9 (D0-D7), and 18-22 (GND)
short pin 10 (ACK) to pin 7 (D5) (i.e. connects FLAG input to D5)
* do not pass pin 10, short it to pin 7 locally on both
sides of the connector. Passing pin 10 won't kill you
but I don't recommend it.
