Here are the answers to the Daxamite/Mon-El trivia quiz I sent out a few days ago: 1. The crucial ingredient in the serum that protects Mon-El from the effects of lead (and of red suns) is... green kryptonite! 2. The serum is not useful to Superboy himself because the kryptonite would injure or kill him. 3. Superboy never thought to try kryptonite when he was trying to make such a serum. It was right under his nose because when he first established that Mon-El was not Kryptonian, he did it by exposing the sleeping Mon-El briefly to green kryptonite and observing that there was no reaction. The kryptonite was in a lead box! 4. The difference between the effects of green kryptonite on Kryptonians and lead on Daxamites is that the effects of lead on a Daxamite do not go away when the lead is removed. Once exposed to lead, a Daxamite is doomed. This is why putting Mon-El in the Phantom Zone was the only way to save his life.
