I have a simple question about the Amiga graphics library, I couldn't find a clear answer in the Amiga RKM's. When using OS routines in the graphics library such as 'BltBitMap' should one call 'OwnBlitter' first, or will 'BltBitMap' do this for me? Chris Conrad CJC105 at psuvm

Don't call OwnBlitter first. The only time you need to OwnBlitter is when you're addressing the hardware blitter registers directly: e.g. OwnBlitter() WaitBlit() <access the hardware bltxxx registers directly> DisownBlitter() - Kodiak -- Bob Burns, amiga!kodiak _ | /_ _|. _ | Commodore __ |_) _ |_ _ )' |<(_)(_)|(_\|< /\ | ||| _` /\ |_)(_\| )(_\ | | \ Software ___/..\|\/|||__|/..\___ Faith
