If I upgrade to an Amiga 2000 will I be able to transfer any memory chips from my A1000 to the A2000 ( mainly, I don't want my Alegra 512K to go to waste)and is it really worth it at this point to get rid of my 1000 (it has been running for 3-1/2 years without a single problem)? Is the 1000 finally going to be left behind by CBM when WB1.4 comes out?

This should be in the monthly posting. 1.4 *will* work on the A1000. Not only will it work, but much of the development for it was done on an A1000 (you know, kickstart in RAM, et al?)
