We at National Semiconductor are soliciting comments from all interested
parties concerning the definition of our next generation of microprocessors.
There are a few givens:
1) It is to be upward compatible from the 16008/16032/32032
2) It is to be available in the 1985-86 timeframe
3) Its performance level will be 6-8 times current 16032 levels.
NOW: The question is what else ought it to have?
