>Two years ago hardly anyone had heard of the Amiga, and fewer had seen one. >Even today, the stigma of a game machine lingers. However, if enough people >called and requested an Amiga port, marketing could not ignore the interest. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I called SAS last week and was told that if I could gather the names and cities of the people who would license the thing (You license SAS not buy it) and send it to a certain person (whose name is at home right now) that it probably would get ported. Seeing that the MS-DOS version runs ~$300 (US) initially and ~$90/yr (US) I don't envision the Amiga version costing too much more. Sooooo.... If everyone whose interested in getting SAS, (you have to want to get it, not just get it ported) would send me their name and city of residence, I will compile a list and send it to the appropriate person at SAS and see if we can't get SAS on our favorite machine.
