/* Written 4:41 pm Nov 23, 1989 by jsivier@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu in uxe.cso.uiuc.edu:uiuc.sys.amiga */ /* ---------- "A Question about MEmacs" ---------- */ Does anyone know if it is possible to use the set-key command from an executable file (i.e. emacs_pro) in MEmacs in AmigaDOS 1.3? This feature, if it exists, is not documented, but was present in the form of load-keys in the older version of microemacs. I am trying to find an editor which I can get to work on all of the machines I have to deal with and Emacs seems to be worth a try. If anyone has any suggestions or comments I would be glad to here them. Thank you, Jon jsivier@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu /* End of text from uxe.cso.uiuc.edu:uiuc.sys.amiga */

MicroEMACS 3.10 from Daniel Lawerence(sp?) does this. It is also compilable on several systems so you could use it as your "standard" editor if you so chose. The sources are available from comp.sources.misc I believe and possibly on a Fish disk (probably in the 200 - 250 range). --Chuck McManis uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: cmcmanis ARPAnet: cmcmanis@Eng.Sun.COM These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
