I have a program that I've been trying to debug, where prog <testfile works just fine, but prog <testfile option crashes the machine. In the latter case, the program never seems to enter the main() proceedure. Also, sdb <testfile prog works, and allows me to debug the program, while sdb <testfile prog option wedges the system even before I tell it to start running the program! (Mouse won't move, no response to keystrokes, etc.) I'm really stumped by this one; what in the world could cause such strange symptoms? -- J.
