My setup: A2000 (rev 6.2 motherboard) wich Super Agnus and 1 meg MEMF_CHIP SupraRAM2000 populated to 4 meg RAM HardFrame/2000 SyQuest SQ555 removable platter drive The question - I am having problems diskcopy'ing between platters. I have, however, gotten it to work. If I just boot off my boot platter (which among other things has ARP, and runs FaccII and MachII 2.4) I can do the diskcopy. This is what happens: 1) I type 'diskcopy DH0: to DH0: noverify' 2) all but 13K of my fast ram and 450K of my chip ram gets grabbed. diskcopy pauses, then gives it all back. On the screen I get a message to the effect of Close tools for extra memory Warning: will take 11 swaps press [RETURN] 3) the diskcopy then goes fine If I boot off a vanilla disk, or just run MachII then the following: 1) memory disappears 2) memory comes back and diskcopy hangs. No messages, ^C won't affect it, but the machine doesn't crash. I was thinking that is there is too much memory available and diskcopy has to back up too much (44 meg) then it might get confused. It's not bad memory, since I ran the SupraRAM test program on the board after this happened and everything checked out fine. Soo, any ideas? -- Rich Carreiro - Most Biased Boston Celtics Fan!
