	I'm working on a project that requires me to do raw floppy reads
and writes.  However, due to the bug in the trackdisk.device regarding
raw reads and writes, I can't use that approach.  What I need is help
with either

	A) patchin the trackdisk device, either with a public domain
	   patch, or (pereferably) with my own code.

	B) Direct hardware access to the hardware through the disk.resource.
	   For this, I need to find out what values to use for write
	   precompensation for the various tracks.

	Any help in either direction would be appreciated, but I'm
most interested in approach A, as it is easier once done.
