I'm working on a program that uses varying sizes of superbitmaps, and I would like it to take advantage of the larger (2K?) superbitmaps available with the ECS, as well as working on non-ECS Amigas. Is there a way for a program to determine if superbitmaps larger than 1024 x 1024 are supported on a given Amiga? When the user selects an option that requires a larger superbitmap, I would like to give a reasonably friendly error message rather than crashing or producing other weird results. I don't currently have any of the ECS chips (not even Super Agnus) but I would like the program to work without change on Amigas equipped with ECS.
