As a new employee of Microsoft, I've had to do some work using OS/2's threads. In actuallity, the are very easy to use and nice! I don't see any real reasons why threads couldn't be implemented under Amiga OS. Probably the best way would be to create a library of Thread functions, which a user could call to create threads. How feasable is this? What are the obsticles? Why wouldn't this be neat? Talk to me. -Tom -- "Hey COW!" _____________(( "My employer couldn't care less about cows..." / ** o \ ______ _______________________ /| **** \ _/moo...\ | Tom McConnell | / | ** /\__/ \______/ | uunet!microsoft!tom |

[line eater food] I believe that Matt Dillon (sp?) did a job on threads already and called them 'light weight processes'. I haven't done anything with them and barely know just what the heck they are so I hope someone else will come forward with more complete information. Dana @ cup.portal.com Merry Christmas to everyone!
