I am sure that this question has been answered before. How do you oil or grease the internal drive of an old amiga 1000? I have opened up the system to look at the drive, but could not find the noisy component. If it can not be done then which drives line up with the normal holes in the 1000 case and are also quieter than the original. My drive is also a little fast according to the test program sent with Maurader II, which pot adjusts the drive speed? I will post a summary if there is the demand.
