My friend has an Amiga 1000, with starboard 2 (2 meg, math coprocessor
board). We decided to see if my WEDGE system would operate on his computer,
since he was considering buying it. When we hook it up, however, the machine
will operate for about 15 to 20 minutes, then lock up. If we reboot, it will
run for another 15 minutes or so, and then stop again. Is this a symptom of
not having the PAL ground fix installed? If it is, how do I go about grounding
them? If not, what's wrong here?
The WEDGE came off of my 1000, which has a 1-meg starboard (w/ SCSI mod.)
and has been working fine for some time now. The only diffenences in our
systems are his math coprocessor, and the second meg in his starboard.
Any ideas?
