If you don't mind another character set question, what is the story with character $D7? When I try to manipulate font files, it seems to be a character that some fonts have and some fonts don't. For example if I use topaz 8 everything works fine. If I use topaz 9 all the characters above $D7 show up shifted by one. (This is when directly manipulating the font bitmaps.) I've run into other fonts that have anomalies, and they usually seem to happen around the neighbourhood of $D7. In the AmigaBasic manual's character table, $D7 and $F7 are both shown as some sort of strange cross-hatching instead of normal characters. Any enlightenment on why this character is so strange and appears in some fonts but not others? John --- * Via ProDoor 3.1R
