Hi.. I am currently working on the fortran to C compiler ( f2c ) here at kent in getting it to work on our unix system. Having looked at the code it shouldn't be toooo difficult to get it to work on the Amiga. I am in the process of experimenting with it. You should note that it is a very LARGE program and will probably need more then 1 Meg to work at its best. I'll keep you informed as I go along. Chris. ( cp@ukc.ac.uk )

Unfortunately, the whole thing is rather large (Sources>2000 Blocks on my HD) and consists of lots of single files. The Makefile uses lots of features from UNIX (YACC, SED, SHELL commands), most command lines are longer than 255 characters. I'm not sure wether I can get it to work since I'm not familiar with UNIX. After some experimentation I was able to compile and run the XSUM program, thus verifying the integrity of the distribution. I'll continue to work on it, but I'm not too enthusiastic (but a bit pressed for time...).
