I have a 5 1/4 inch disk drive which I'd like to hook up to an amiga. I'm sure this must be possible, but I haven't a clue what kind of interface/ connector cable I should use. The drive is an ex-internal drive from an old amstrad PC. Does anyone out there have a similar set-up? I'd appreciate your help, thanks, Fergal Toomey ftoomey@maths.tcd.ie

Ask and you shall receive! Do you get Amazing Computing? I have submitted an article to them (which they have accepted for publication) on that very topic. Should be out in March or April. Oh...forgot to ask...is your drive a 40 track or an 80 track (96 tpi) drive? The article discusses interfacing 80 track drives.
