Hello Dan, My copy of the SCSI HOST/CONTROLLER instruction manual does have the step DevInstall @devs:devsetup. The problem that I have is trying to format with FedX. It refuses to low leve format my drive. I eventually gave up on FedX and used GenFormat, that program seems to work fine. Now I have a greater problem.. I can't get a solid autoboot when I run the setautoboot program. The drive refuses to autoboot from a power up condition, but if I do a Ctrl A A (WARM BOOT) after a setautoboot it will boot . If I reset the computer while the drive is being accesed the drive goes into lockup. What did I do Wrong ? I booted with a modified version of the CLtd Utilities disk with the appropriate files copied to the proper directories, I manually do a DEVINSTALL @DEVS:DEVSETUP then MOUNT DH0:, MOUNT DH1:,DFDISK DH0:, and finally SETAUTOBOOT 100. I boot from DH0:, use the left button on the mouse , enable a scsibus reset, use chip and fast ram and automount DH1:. I got it to work witha Micropolis 1375 but can't get my 3 1/2 " 96MB Maxstor LXS-100s to work.. Thanks for your time and help.....Bruno Pronio --- * Via ProDoor 3.1R
