Here's the problem - when I boot my 2000, it inevitably cannot read from DF0:. The sequence goes something like this: power-up pop in Workbench spin, spin, spin gronk (trying to read) Klack! Klack! picture of Workbench disk appears on screen I then pop out the disk and pop it back it. Usually the same thing happens. However, the third time things go as they were meant to, and there are no further problems with the disk or the drive. Thinking the problem may be the disk itself, I tried other workbench disks, including a copy of the original. Same problem every time. Any clues on what the problem is or how to correct it would be appreciated. Please e-mail. I will summarize the hopefully successful results and post. Mike Berman berman@umbc5.umbc.edu
